Dear Teachers, Students, and Families,
The goal of this book is to nurture a deep sense of belonging, pride, and cultural appreciation for the United Arab Emirates. Music is the most powerful pathway to the heart, it carries emotion, builds memory, and connects people across languages, ages, and backgrounds.
Why English?
Because the UAE is home to many nationalities, and not all children speak Arabic. Through English-language songs inspired by Emirati culture, every child can understand the words, feel the values, and proudly sing about the UAE.
I am a Lebanese music teacher, musician, and composer who has lived in the UAE since 2020. During these years, I have been deeply inspired by this nation, its generosity, achievements, rich heritage, and the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, whose vision of unity, compassion, and human dignity shaped the identity of the UAE.
Motivated by admiration and gratitude, I created Sing Together for the UAE as a musical bridge for young learners, offering them a joyful and meaningful way to discover this country’s traditions, values, and stories. Through these songs, my hope is to instill pride, belonging, and a true emotional connection to the UAE in every child and learner.

To build a unifying musical platform that connects children and learners of all nationalities to the heritage, identity, and values of the United Arab Emirates.
Through songs, art, and storytelling, the vision is to make UAE culture felt, understood, and celebrated, not only in classrooms, but in every home, school event, and community gathering.
Mission
To provide accessible, high-quality, culturally authentic musical resources that empower both Arab and non-Arab teachers to confidently integrate UAE identity into their lessons.

Validated Impact & Academic Excellence
Following its 2022 pilot phase, the curriculum underwent advanced validation at a leading university in Abu Dhabi. The results confirmed a 100% success rate in technical clarity of rhythm and notation, a 100% success rate in fostering cultural connection for international learners, and a 84% recommendation rate for institutional adoption.

Sing Together For The UAE Officially Recognized as World’s First AI-Orchestrated Heritage Curriculum
Paulette Yammine, founder of Sing Together for the UAE, has officially established the world’s first AI-orchestrated digital music curriculum for national heritage. Formally registered with the UAE Ministry of Economy, this "phygital" curriculum uses generative AI orchestration to preserve Emirati musical traditions for a new generation.
First piloted in 2022, the curriculum reached a major milestone during National Day celebrations at a leading Abu Dhabi university. Music instructors successfully performed the AI-orchestrated arrangements, and students provided feedback via structured surveys, confirming the curriculum's technical clarity and cultural resonance. This successful field implementation confirms its status as the first school & university-tested AI heritage curriculum in the region.

Music & Learning Made Easy
Each song in this book includes simple musical notes so teachers can easily play the melody in class, whether on keyboard, flute, guitar, or violin.
The illustration represents the theme of the song and is designed for students to colour, helping them connect visually and creatively to each UAE value and tradition.
Lyrics That Teach UAE Values
Every picture is paired with clear, child-friendly English lyrics that explain a specific UAE value or cultural tradition.
These songs reflect the vision and dreams of Sheikh Zayed, allowing students from all backgrounds to understand the UAE’s story in a meaningful and engaging way.
Sing, Learn, and Perform
Each song includes both a demo recording and a karaoke version accessed through a QR code.
Students can first listen to the original version, then sing confidently with the karaoke track—making learning interactive, enjoyable, and accessible for all learners.

This sample track gives teachers a preview of how each song in Sing Together for the UAE sounds when performed with vocals and with the karaoke version. Before teaching a song, teachers can listen to the demo to understand the melody, rhythm, and expression, then play the karaoke track in class to support student practice.
This helps students hear the correct tune, sing with confidence, and connect emotionally to the UAE values reflected in the lyrics and music.
